The height control for the Allotments was another project from Parks and Countryside at Guildford BC and was part of the natural development of the area as a whole. The allotments are situated next to the Bowers Lane Car Park at Burpham near the A3 and National grid pylons. I have used some of the imagery found in some of the sculptures I have made in the overthrow, namely inflated diatoms and the fork and trowel; the lettering was based upon the shape of green beans no doubt a vegetable that many of the allotment gardeners would be putting on their tables!
The piece of timber with the green words Nature Reserve was the first part of the New Car Park entrance .
