There always seems to be a dilemma when looking at things I made that go back as far  as 1978. I remember wanting to do the ‘most open ended thing possible’, with my life probably influenced by some of JCLillys book The Autobiography of Inner Space.
I had a job once but after 1984 have been surviving through my freelance work; unbelievable and its been going on ever since. At last maybe some conclusions and a chart of the journey. If you have got this far in the web site please give me a bell; 01420 542949, a small prize awaits you!

I love the life I lead and live the life I love; so this is another day another beginning..
Born in 1956 I think the story is clearer now: but that’s another story.
I think there were several simple stages.
Pure invention at Bath Academy of Art, Alchemy in the chicken shed in Four Marks. The Steel Rolling Mill, Mellow Farm and Public Art, Family and now plans for more Public artworks to facilitate exploratory sculpture and prints to turn the tables.

So the best way to show the early work is with a little slideshow. It is in some kind of order and I intend to do a fuller survey of ideas at a later date.
