I met Patricia, who organises the provincial meetings of the RBS, at Roger Stephens' studio. Her work is made out of biscuit fired clay which is then painted in bright specially mixed pigments.
Her interest in 'the simple form or line' is something I can relate to in my own work. Combinations of colour and the use of historic ceramic processes; leaving pieces unglazed, will be great to see.
I'm looking forward to the private view this evening at Chapel Arts, Cheltenham. The exhibition will be open to the public from 27th July-27th August 2017.
